Additional personal data screen: name variations and areas of interest

The second step of the registration process. Asking the user's personal name variations and areas of academic interests of the person.

Name variations

Many users' personal name may be spelled differently. Here we ask the user about the possible variations. The variations of the personal name will be searched for in the documents' metadata to find potential contributions.

This screen will show an edit box (textarea), for the list of name variations. A user will be able to directly edit it and add or remove entries.

The initial values for the variations list will be computed as described in the Kathmandu document, contributions profile section.

Academic interests areas

A flat, free-text, comma-separated list of key words or phrases, that describe the interests of the academic.

The [continue] button at the screen bottom will lead to the Affiliation and Employment Profile.

The variations of your name, one per line:

Areas of academic interests

Please list your areas of interest in your academic area. Type key words or phrases, separating them with a comma. For example:
unemployment, emerging markets, market failures.
